abstract |
Embodiments provide a light-emitting element that improves reliability and efficiency and can adjust the area of a light-emitting region according to the purpose of use. A light-emitting structure including a plurality of light-emitting regions including a first semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second semiconductor layer; disposed on any one first semiconductor layer of the plurality of light-emitting regions A second electrode portion disposed on any one second semiconductor layer of the plurality of light emitting regions; at least one other of the plurality of light emitting regions. An intermediate pad disposed on the second semiconductor layer; and a connecting electrode for sequentially connecting the plurality of light emitting regions in series, wherein the plurality of light emitting regions connected in series are the first group to the i th group. The areas of the light emitting regions which are divided into the light emitting regions of the groups and belong to different groups constitute different light emitting elements (1 <i ≦ j, where i and j are natural numbers, j is the last light emitting region group) is there).
