A cyclic olefin functional siloxane of formula (1), or a cyclic olefin compound polymerizable therewith, in the presence of a multicomponent catalyst system comprising the following compounds (A), (B) and (C): Resin fine particles comprising a cyclic olefin addition polymer obtained by addition polymerization, wherein the proportion of the structural unit of formula (1) is 5 to 100 mol% in the addition polymer. (R 1 is a monovalent organic group having no aliphatic unsaturated bond, s is an integer of 0 to 2, i is 0 or 1, and j is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4.)
