abstract |
An improved container closure delivery system suitable for lyophilized injectable powder pharmaceuticals is disclosed. The system includes a storage stable powder formulation and a container closure assembly, where the formulation is filled and frozen in a standard filling completion facility, and the formulation and lyophilization process produces a powder that dissolves easily upon contact with a diluent.
