abstract | The present invention provides a catalyst material having a large specific surface area of catalyst-supporting carbon particles in the entire catalyst material and forming many three-phase interfaces. [Solution] The catalyst material of the present invention is a catalyst material composed of catalyst-supported carbon particles in which a catalyst metal is supported on carbon particles. The carbon particles of the catalyst material are formed of carbon, and are formed in the outer shell portion in which the catalytic metal is supported, the inner space formed in the outer shell portion, and the outer shell portion. These are porous and hollow carbon particles having fine pores communicating with the internal space. The catalyst material is composed of catalyst-carrying carbon particles having an average particle diameter of 200 nm or more and less than 10 μm. [Selection] Figure 1 |
