abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a roofing material that is light in weight, has good workability, has little deterioration in anti-slip property in rainy weather, and has excellent nail hole water-stop and durability. A roofing material 1 includes a first non-woven fabric layer 3 made of a polyolefin-based and / or polyester-based synthetic fiber under a surface resin layer 2, and a first resin layer 4 made of a polyolefin-based synthetic resin below it. A water-absorbing swelling layer 5 is provided below the second nonwoven fabric layer 6 made of polyolefin-based and / or polyester-based synthetic fibers, and a second resin layer 7 made of a polyolefin-based synthetic resin is provided therebelow. Since the resin layers 4 and 7 made of two layers of polyolefin-based synthetic resin are laminated, it has sufficient strength and can prevent the expansion of the nail hole, and can prevent the resin that forms the water absorption swelling layer 5 from flowing out due to water absorption swelling. It has excellent nail hole water resistance.
