abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a heat ray shielding material having good visible light permeability, heat shielding performance (solar reflectance), planar shape and rubbing resistance. SOLUTION: A metal particle-containing layer containing at least one type of metal particles, the metal particle-containing layer has a thickness of 10 nm to 80 nm, and the metal particles are hexagonal or circular plate-like metal particles.
