(A) An esterified product of dextrin and a fatty acid, wherein the dextrin has an average polymerization degree of glucose of 3 to 150, and the fatty acid is one or more of branched saturated fatty acids having 4 to 26 carbon atoms. More than 50 mol% and not more than 100 mol% with respect to the total fatty acids, and linear saturated fatty acids having 2 to 22 carbon atoms, linear or branched unsaturated fatty acids having 6 to 30 carbon atoms and cyclic structures having 6 to 30 carbon atoms. 1 type or 2 types or more selected from the group consisting of saturated or unsaturated fatty acids are contained in an amount of 0 mol% to less than 50 mol% based on the total fatty acids, and the degree of substitution of fatty acids per glucose unit is 1.0 to 3.0 A hair cosmetic comprising a dextrin fatty acid ester (B) an oil agent having a sterol skeleton (C) a nonionic surfactant.
