abstract |
Provided is a toner having a core-shell structure, in which the shell sufficiently exhibits a function as a shell to improve the durability and chargeability of the toner and the toner does not adhere to a regulating blade. A toner having a protrusion formed by adhering resin fine particles to the surface of a core particle, wherein the core particle contains at least a binder resin, a colorant, and a release agent. The transmittance of light at a wavelength of 800 nm in the supernatant after irradiating the dispersion liquid of 20 kHz and 80 W with ultrasonic waves for 5 minutes and centrifuging the toner dispersion liquid is from 50% to 95%.
