abstract | Production of a counter electrode in a dye-sensitized solar cell in which the counter electrode has high catalytic performance without using platinum as the counter electrode, and the dye-sensitized solar cell manufactured with the counter electrode has high battery performance A method, a method for producing a dye-sensitized solar cell, and a dye-sensitized solar cell are provided. SOLUTION: A photoelectrode 5 formed by forming a semiconductor porous film 4 on a transparent conductive substrate 1, a counter electrode 2 formed by forming a catalyst thin film on a carbon layer 22 formed on a counter electrode substrate 21, and both electrodes 2 , 5 and the electrolyte layer 3 disposed between the counter electrodes 2 in a dye-sensitized solar cell, wherein a carbon solution obtained by dissolving carbon powder in a solvent is pasted on a counter electrode substrate 21. After coating or printing, the carbon layer 22 is formed by firing, and the carbon layer 22 is immersed in the p-type semiconductor precursor solution and then fired, whereby the p-type semiconductor fine particles 23 are supported on the carbon layer 22.
