titleOfInvention Adapter, camera system, and adapter control program
abstract An adapter capable of appropriately functioning various types of optical systems in a lens-interchangeable camera system is provided. An adapter is provided separately from a first mount part to which a camera body can be attached and detached, and a second mount part to which an interchangeable lens can be attached and attached to the first mount part. An adapter control unit capable of communicating with the camera body, and a storage unit in which lens information of the interchangeable lens is stored in advance, and the adapter control unit receives lens information requested from the camera body from the storage unit. The read lens information is generated as lens information for body transmission to be transmitted to the camera body. [Selection] Figure 3
