abstract Disclosed is a silylating agent-treated hydrazide compound that can provide a curable resin composition having a long pot life when used as a thermosetting agent. Further, the method for producing the silylating agent-treated hydrazide compound, the curable resin composition using the silylating agent-treated hydrazide compound, and the curable resin composition are excellent in storage stability and cause liquid crystal contamination. There are provided a sealing agent for liquid crystal dropping method, a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element using the sealing agent for liquid crystal dropping method. A silylating agent-treated hydrazide compound represented by the following general formula (1): [Chemical 1] In formula (1), R 1 to R 6 represent an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms, an isopropyl group, a tert-butoxy group, or a phenyl group, and may be the same or different. .
