abstract Provided is a radioactivity measuring apparatus that does not require a shielding wall and that can measure various types of radionuclides as compared with the prior art. [Solution] The radioactivity measurement apparatus 100 includes a static magnetic field magnet 10, a gradient magnetic field power source 20, a transmission unit 30, a reception unit 40, a sequence control unit 50, and an information processing unit 60. With the gradient magnetic field applied by the current supplied from the gradient magnetic field power supply 20 to the measurement object placed in the static magnetic field, the transmitter 30 generates a high frequency pulse while switching the frequency, thereby switching the frequency. While irradiating the measurement object with electromagnetic waves. At each frequency, the receiver receives the NMR signal, and generates a cross-sectional image of the measurement object based on the NMR signal. The position where the radionuclide is present in the cross-sectional image is displayed in a color determined for each radionuclide, thereby indicating the position where the radionuclide is present in the measurement target.
