titleOfInvention | Transcranial magnetic stimulation head fixture and transcranial magnetic stimulation device |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] A repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation device that can effectively perform transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy, and that allows subjects to repeat transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy on a daily basis at their clinic or home. A miniaturized transcranial magnetic stimulation device is provided. A transcranial magnetic stimulation device includes a head fixture that includes a fixing unit that detachably fixes a magnetic field generating unit, covers a subject's head, and is fixed in mesh with a head shape unique to the subject. By fixing the magnetic field generating means to the fixing means, the maximum density point of current induced by the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generating means is steadily arranged in a target spot having a diameter of 10 mm or less that is different for each individual inside the skull. And the relative position of the magnetic field generating means with respect to the head of the subject is kept constant so that the direction of the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generating means and the direction of the target spot are in a fixed relationship.
