abstract |
A transmission X-ray generator capable of improving X-ray generation efficiency by effectively using electrons reflected by a transmission target and an X-ray imaging apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: An electron passage 8 and a transmission target 9c provided on a target support substrate 9a are provided, and electrons are irradiated to the transmission target 9c through the electron passage 8 to generate X-rays. A transmissive X-ray generator, wherein the transmissive target 9c is provided in the central region of the target support substrate 9a and is at least part of the peripheral region of the target support substrate 9a not covered with the transmissive target 9c However, it is higher than the central region of the target support substrate 9a covered with the transmission target 9c with respect to the X-rays generated when the electrons reflected from the transmission target 9c enter the inner wall surface of the electron passage 8 A transmission type X-ray generator characterized by having transparency.
