titleOfInvention Secondary battery
abstract In a secondary battery using an end face current collecting structure, a secondary battery including a current collecting plate in which occurrence of a short circuit between positive and negative electrodes is suppressed at the time of joining an electrode group end and a current collecting plate is provided. A secondary battery in which an electrode group 5 in which a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are wound or stacked with a separator interposed therebetween is housed in a battery case 1 and includes at least one of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The end portion of the electrode plate is joined to the current collector plate in a state of protruding from the separator, and the current collector plate has a protruding portion formed on a surface facing the electrode group. The spatter generated when the part and the current collector plate are welded is supplemented. [Selection] Figure 3
