titleOfInvention Use of HE4 for breast cancer assessment
abstract A method for evaluating whether a patient is suffering from breast cancer is provided. The method includes evaluating HE4 / HE4a expression in a solid sample of a patient, blood and serum, or a body fluid in contact with the patient. Increased expression of HE4 is an indicator that the patient is afflicted with breast cancer, and increased expression of the second breast cancer marker is a further indicator that the patient is afflicted with breast cancer. Further comprising evaluating the expression of. [Selection figure] None
