abstract The cost of a keyboard device in which the length from the center of rocking of at least two keys having different assigned pitches to the front end of the key is made different is reduced. A key frame 12 including a plurality of white keys 11w and a support member sf for supporting a black key is provided. The position of the support member sf in the front-rear direction is set in advance according to the pitch assigned to the white key 11w and the black key to be supported. A key base material is formed by resin molding. The key base material is a member commonly used to form a plurality of white keys 11w and black keys having different assigned pitches. A white key 11w and a black key are formed by processing the rear end portion of the key base material and adding an engaging portion that engages with the support member sf.
