abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can easily adjust and set emission color, can simplify the manufacturing process, can reduce the influence of light scattering, is bright and has good color reproducibility. A light-emitting device including a light-emitting element that emits primary light and a wavelength conversion unit that absorbs a part of the primary light and emits secondary light, wherein the wavelength conversion unit includes different secondary light sources. It comprises a plurality of types of phosphors that emit light, and at least one of the phosphors is covered with a surface coating that reflects secondary light emitted from other phosphors.
