titleOfInvention Adapter, camera system, and adapter control program
abstract An adapter capable of appropriately functioning various types of optical systems in a lens-interchangeable camera system is provided. An adapter control unit of an adapter drives and controls a drive element of an interchangeable lens according to a first reception unit that receives a camera control command output from a camera body and contents received by the first reception unit. A first transmission unit that transmits a lens control command to the interchangeable lens, a second reception unit that receives state information indicating the drive state of the drive element from the interchangeable lens, and content received by the second reception unit A second transmission unit that transmits state information indicating a driving state of the driving element to the camera body, and the adapter control unit transmits a first lens control command instructing the driving start of the driving element to the interchangeable lens. On the other hand, when transmitted from the first transmitter, the state information indicating that the drive element is being driven is transmitted from the second transmitter to the camera body regardless of the reception of the second receiver. .
