abstract Disclosed is an applicator that can perform partial electrolytic plating without masking and improve production efficiency. For decoration, a conductive ink layer 31 formed on the surface of a shaft cylinder 20 by a conductive ink having electrical conductivity, and a conductive metal layer 31 made of a predetermined metal. A decorative pattern 30 including the formed metal layer 32 is formed on the surface of the shaft cylinder 20. Since the metal layer 32 is formed by electrolytic plating on the conductive ink layer 31 formed by printing the conductive ink by silk screen printing, it is possible to perform plating without masking the surface of the shaft cylinder 20. The decorative pattern 30 having the metal layer 32 can be partially formed on the surface of the shaft cylinder 20. Therefore, the work of masking the portion not to be plated and the work of removing the masking are unnecessary, so that the production efficiency can be improved. [Selection] Figure 3
