titleOfInvention | A DNA fragment that stably and highly expresses a foreign gene in a living cell of the genus Coleoptera and use thereof |
abstract | Disclosed is a DNA fragment such as a promoter, 5′UTR, and terminator that can highly express a target foreign gene in living cells of the genus Coleoptera, and a method for using the same. A DNA fragment comprising any of the following DNAs (a) to (d): (A) DNA consisting of a specific base sequence. (B) A DNA comprising a sequence in which one to a plurality of bases are deleted, substituted or added in a specific base sequence, and having 5′-UTR activity in a genus Coleoptera organism cell. (C) DNA consisting of a part of a specific base sequence and having 5′-UTR activity in a living organism of the order genus Lepidoptera. (D) DNA that hybridizes under stringent conditions with a DNA consisting of a base sequence complementary to a specific base sequence or a part thereof, and has 5′-UTR activity in the genus Coleoptera organism cell.
