abstract | 【Task】 An object of the present invention is to provide a zeolite having an MFI type structure in which the amount of Al that causes strong acid points and the amount of nested silanol that becomes weak acid points are precisely controlled, and a method for producing the same. Specifically, the SiO 2 / Al 2 O 3 molar ratio is 5,000 to 100,000, and the peak area of 3,500 ± 50 cm −1 in the infrared spectrum is 2 to 70 KM · cm −1 .
