abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a compound having a fluoroalkyl chain with a small number of carbons as a fluorine source, which does not require extraction or isolation steps after synthesis, can be synthesized easily without generating chlorine-containing waste. To provide a fluorine-containing (meth) acrylic acid ester compound that can achieve a high fluorine content and achieve a low refractive index even when used. A (meth) acrylic acid ester compound of formula (2) is obtained by reacting a fluorine-containing epoxy compound with a fluorine-containing epoxy compound, and a polybasic carboxylic acid anhydride is reacted with the hydroxyl group of the compound. Thus, a carboxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate compound is obtained, and a fluorine-containing epoxy compound is reacted with the carboxyl group of the compound to obtain a fluorine-containing (meth) acrylate compound.
