titleOfInvention Apparatus and method for treating cooling liquid utilized in tire manufacture
abstract An effective and new apparatus and method for treating a cooling fluid utilized in a tire manufacturing process. An apparatus and method for neutralizing, treating, or inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in a cooling fluid used in tire manufacture using high frequency, low energy ultrasound. In one embodiment, the method includes simultaneously exposing the cooling fluid to gas microbubbles and high frequency ultrasound. In another embodiment, an apparatus includes a compartment for holding a container for tire manufacturing cooling fluid, an ultrasonic emitter configured to radiate a high frequency ultrasonic signal to the compartment, and the cooling fluid. A gas microbubble emitter configured to emit gas microbubbles into the ultrasound region in the compartment. [Selection] Figure 1
