abstract A weak light component is accurately detected in a biosensor including a light emitting element and a light receiving element. A light receiving element 26 that receives light from a living body and outputs a signal corresponding to the received light; and a first light-transmitting element that is bonded to the substrate 22 so as to cover the light emitting element 24. A light guide member 25 and a second light guide member 27 that is light transmissive and is provided apart from the first light guide member 25 so as to cover the light receiving element 26 are provided.
