An improved stretchable flexible transparent conductive polymer membrane and a method for making the same are provided. The present invention provides a flexible, extensible, transparent, highly conductive hybrid polymer film comprising conductive electrospun nanofibers embedded in a cast dielectric polymer film. Concerning the method. In one embodiment, the present invention utilizes conductive nanofibers or nanofiber structures that are embedded in a suitable polymer film. In one embodiment, the conductive nanofiber or nanofiber structure can be electrospun, for example, from a suitable polymer solution containing a suitable amount of at least one conductive material. In one embodiment, the flexible polymer membrane portion of the present invention can be formed from poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) or polyimide. In another embodiment, the present invention relates to a flexible polymer membrane having a conductive structure embedded therein, wherein the flexible polymer membrane portion is, for example, a polycarbonate, polyurethane, and / or cyclopolyolefin polymer composition. Is formed by a casting process to produce a transparent film. [Selection] Figure 21 |
