abstract | Disclosed are methods of administering olopatadine topical formulations for the treatment of nasal allergic or inflammatory disorders in children. Furthermore, an ophthalmic product for carrying out this method is provided. The preparation of the present invention is an aqueous solution containing about 0.6% olopatadine and is effective as a product for treating nasal allergic or inflammatory disorders. According to the method of the present invention, a first amount of olopatadine is administered to a pediatric nostril during a first period, and then a second amount of olopatadine is administered to a pediatric nostril during a second period. . |
