Recent genome-scale technology enables us to elucidate complex biomolecular mechanisms of protein production in mammalian cells with system-level analysis, which increases process understanding and knowledge to further optimize processes Reasoning based on the base approach can be expected. The present invention describes a method for a rational cell culture process using such a knowledge-based approach.
