titleOfInvention | Novel serum-free medium for rapidly and efficiently inducing pluripotent stem cells and method of use thereof |
abstract | A novel serum-free medium for rapidly and efficiently inducing pluripotent stem cells and a method for using the same are provided. SOLUTION: Somatic cells are rapidly and efficiently induced pluripotent stem cells. A serum-free medium that induces and reprograms cells, iPS), and a method of using the serum-free medium to induce and reprogram somatic cells without a feeder layer. The speed and efficiency of all guided reprograms has been greatly improved. Further provided is the use of the medium for the induction of pluripotent stem cells, as well as the use in compound screening methods, in particular high-throughput screening methods for compounds.
