titleOfInvention | Stabilization of radiopharmaceutical compositions with ascorbic acid. |
abstract | Radiopharmaceutical compositions and related methods useful for medical imaging methods are provided. The radiopharmaceutical composition comprises one or more radiopharmaceutical compounds together with a stabilizer comprising ascorbic acid, in which case the pH of the composition is in the range of about 3.5 to 5.5. is there. The present invention provides the use of ascorbic acid as a stabilizer at certain pH ranges. Drugs and stabilizers are ethanol aqueous or so that the solution is preferably in the acidic pH range of about 3.5 to 5.5, more preferably about 4 to 5, and most preferably about 4 to 4.5. Formulated in an aqueous buffer. |
