The present application discloses a new endohedral fullerene in which one or more ozone molecules are encapsulated. The fullerene is selected from, for example, C 60 -fullerene, C 70 -fullerene, C 76 -fullerene, C 78 -fullerene, C 82 -fullerene, C 84 -fullerene and C 120 -fullerene. The present application further discloses a composition comprising an endohedral fullerene and a carrier material.
