abstract |
The present invention provides an organic gel comprising (a) a monomer component (A1) composed of at least one polyfunctional isocyanate and at least one monomer component (A2) selected from a polyfunctional amine and a polyfunctional hydroxy compound. Providing a composition comprising a precursor (A); and (b) reacting the organic gel precursor (A) in the presence of a continuous pore macroporous foam (B) and a solvent (C) to form a xerogel composite. And (c) a step of converting the solvent (C) into a gas state at a temperature and pressure lower than the critical temperature and the critical pressure of the solvent (C) and drying the xerogel composite material. The present invention relates to a method for producing a xerogel xerogel composite material. The invention also relates to the xerogel composites thus obtained and their use in insulating materials, for thermal insulation, vacuum insulation panels, refrigeration equipment or buildings.
