abstract | Disclosed is a thermoplastic molded article having at least one surface with a metal layer, the article determined by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis for the weight of the poly (trimethylene terephthalate) repeat unit and the cyclic dimer. A poly (trimethylene terephthalate) molding resin having a cyclic dimer content of 1.1 wt% or less; and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.9 to about 2.0 dL / g. Preferably, the metal layer is aluminum. Molded articles include bezels for vehicle lights such as bezels for headlights, bezels for taillights, bezels for direction indicators, and bezels for interior lights. |
