abstract | The present invention relates to a toner composition having a wide fusing temperature range and a method for producing the same. In the toner composition according to the present invention, by using a non-linear polyester resin having a branch structure, an entanglement between adjacent polymer chains is generated, and this gives elasticity to the melt when the resin is melted. As a result, the phenomenon that the melt is transferred to the surface of the high temperature roller at the time of fusing is prevented, and the maximum fusing temperature is increased. Accordingly, the maximum fusing temperature increases as the average number of branches per chain of the polyester resin increases, and the fusing temperature range of the toner composition can be widened. |
