titleOfInvention Device for measuring at least one parameter of an arterial blood sample
abstract The invention relates to a device for measuring at least one parameter of an arterial blood sample, which is connected to the inlet side and the outlet side (5, 6) of the measuring cell (7) of its flow-through sensor (2). It has a flow-through sensor (2) with a standard connection member (3, 4), and the measurement cell (7) comprises at least one photochemical sensor element (8) capable of contacting the blood sample. A connector (9) is removably attached to the flow-through sensor (2), which comprises at least one light source (10) for exciting the photochemical sensor element (8) and the measured radiation of the photochemical sensor element (8). And at least one photodetector (11) for receiving light. The electronic module (12) has an electrical connection line (13) to the connector (9), contacts the at least one light source (10) and the at least one photodetector (11), and the flow-through sensor (2) is connectable to the standard connection part (14) of the arterial catheter (1) via the connection member (3) on the inlet side, and via the connection member (4) on the outlet side. Can be connected to the standard connection (15) of the intra-arterial infusion set (16).
