titleOfInvention | Body fluid index |
abstract | An apparatus used in performing impedance measurements on a subject, the apparatus comprising a processing system, wherein the processing system is at least one body part of the subject at each of three frequencies. First and second parameter values are determined for the first and second impedance parameters relating to the impedance of the system, and simultaneous equations indicating circles defined with respect to the first and second impedance parameters are obtained for three frequencies. Solving with each of the first and second parameter values to determine a circular parameter value, determining a third impedance parameter value using the circular parameter value at each frequency, and a third impedance value Using the parameter value, an index indicating the relative fluid level in the body part of the subject is determined. |
