abstract A mold (10) for molding the temporary prosthesis (100) comprises at least two mold members (12, 14) that are at least partially separable from each other. At least two mold members define a closed internal cavity (16) for molding a temporary prosthesis. The mold has a securing structure (18) that is attached to at least two mold members to secure the at least two mold members together during molding of the temporary prosthesis. The fixing structure is movable from the at least two mold members by hand without using a tool.
