abstract | A method for obtaining a consistent assessment of the state of the system being monitored by measuring multiple parameters of the system. Using multiple parameters, a single dimensional value is calculated using the Parzan window probability function based on the distance between the current state and the normal state of the system. A consistent single dimensional value can be obtained by determining the relationship between the single dimensional value and the probability of the status of the system, regardless of the dimensions of the original data set. Different relationships are obtained for different dimensions of the dataset. Detect sensor faults by examining the probability of states implied by measuring all available parameters against the probability of states implied by ignoring different individual parameters of the parameters Can do.
