abstract | The present invention is selected from an emulsification method, a diffusion method, and a vapor deposition method performed in the presence of a surface-treated surfactant that is one or more polymers exhibiting a lower critical solution temperature of 10 to 90 ° C. in an aqueous medium. Polymer particles obtained by the method are provided. The polymer is a polymerization product of one or more monomers selected from a polymerizable alkylene glycol acrylate monomer and a polymerizable alkylene glycol methacrylate monomer. The polymer particles can be used in controlled release applications such as flavor release applications, aroma release applications and biomedical applications. The present invention also provides a cell support matrix comprising the polymer particles. |
