titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for measuring carrier behavior |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure carrier behavior of a substance such as an amorphous organic semiconductor by simple measurement. In one aspect of the present invention, a photoexcitation step of irradiating a region to which a field is applied of a substance to be measured 1S of a test piece 1 with an excitation light pulse, and a TBC probe light of the test piece 1 There is provided a method for measuring the carrier behavior of a substance to be measured 1S, including a step of irradiating a region, a step of measuring a deformed HTOF intensity, and a step of measuring a TBC intensity. The excitation light pulse is a light pulse of a predetermined short-time irradiation of two light beams that are coherent with each other, and the TBC probe light is two coherent light beams having the same wavelength as the excitation light pulse. Both the excitation light pulse and the TBC probe light are irradiated by the optical path sets 14 and 16. The modified HTOF intensity is measured as a time change of the diffraction intensity of the probe light for diffraction intensity measurement, and the TBC intensity is measured as a time change of the probe light for TBC.
