A honeycomb filter capable of reducing thermal stress generated in combustion regeneration while reducing pressure loss is provided. A honeycomb filter 100 includes a flow path 110 partitioned by a partition wall 120. The flow path 110 includes a plurality of flow paths 110a and a plurality of flow paths 110b. One flow path 110b and another flow path 110b are adjacent to each other, and the cross section of the flow path 110b has a long side 150a and a short side 150b. The short side 150b of the channel 110b is opposed to the short side 150b of the adjacent channel 110b, and the cross section of the channel 110b in each channel 110b is shown. When the sum of the products of the lengths of the sides to be formed and the axial length of the flow path 110b is S, the sum of S in all the flow paths 110b included in the honeycomb filter 100 is given. It is greater than or equal to the value. [Selection] Figure 1 |
