titleOfInvention A process for producing an electrostatic charge developing toner and an electrostatic charge developing toner.
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing a toner in which a colorant pigment is efficiently and stably contained in toner particles in the production of a toner utilizing an emulsion polymerization method. A colorant pigment dispersion previously coated with an acrylate resin comprises (A) a polymer primary particle dispersion process, (B) a secondary particle dispersion aggregation process, and (C) the polymer primary dispersion. In the adhering step of preparing a dispersion of adhering particles in which the fine resin particles adhere to the secondary particles by adding and mixing a dispersion of resin fine particles having a relatively high softening point different from the particles, ( A colorant pigment is introduced into the toner particles by adding and mixing in any one of steps A), (B), and (C).
