abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure for an electrical component housing case that effectively suppresses the intrusion of water into the case without complicating the structure and increasing the manufacturing cost. An engine ECU includes a cylindrical protective wall on the upper end side of a base surface of a case main body. Inside the protective wall 24, a filter mounting boss 26 having a vent hole 25 formed in the axial center is projected from the base surface 23, and a breath filter 27 is mounted on the filter mounting boss 26. The dashboard upper 14 is provided with an installation surface 41 that faces the front of the vehicle body and to which the engine ECU 21 is fastened, and a concave groove 42 that extends in the vertical direction at the center of the installation surface 41 in the left-right direction. A collar 51 extends downward from the front end of the cowl top 16. The saddle 51 is located in front of the engine ECU 21, and the lower end thereof is lower than the upper end of the case body 22 of the engine ECU 21. [Selection] Figure 6
