titleOfInvention Ferrite core and electronic components
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite core capable of achieving both a reduction in power loss and a high saturation magnetic flux density in a high frequency region and improving a quality factor, and an electronic component to which the ferrite core is applied. SOLUTION: A ferrite core having a core part composed of a ferrite composition and a coating layer formed on at least a part of the surface of the core part, wherein the ferrite composition has a main component, Fe 2 O 3 is contained in an amount of 63.3 to 65.5 mol%, ZnO is contained in an amount of 11.6 to 15.8 mol%, and the balance is composed of Mn 2 O 3. As subcomponents, SiO 2 is contained in an amount of 60 to 250 ppm, CaO is contained in an amount of 360 to 1000 ppm. Further, in 100% by weight of the main component, the content of Pb is 7 ppm or less, and the content of Cd is 7 ppm or less. And the Tsp of the ferrite composition is in the range of 0 to 50 ° C., and the thermal expansion coefficient of the coating layer is less than or equal to the thermal expansion coefficient of the core portion.
