abstract | Disclosed is a method for producing a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image by a jet granulation method, in which droplets can be stably ejected over a long period of time, and adhesion of droplets after spraying is prevented. To provide a method for producing a toner for developing an electrostatic image having a narrow particle size distribution. A toner composition liquid in which a toner composition containing a binder resin, a colorant, and a wax is dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent is discharged from one or more discharge holes into the gas phase to generate droplets. A method for producing a toner, wherein the organic solvent in the droplets is dried to solidify the particles, A method for producing a toner, wherein the toner composition liquid is discharged into a gas phase at a temperature at which a vapor pressure of the organic solvent is 1.3 × 10 4 Pa or less.
