abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method and a determination kit capable of quickly and surely discriminating whether it is a bed bug dung or a cockroach dung at a site where damage that seems to be caused by bed bugs has occurred. SOLUTION: A support 11 carrying a coloring reagent such as tetramethylbenzidine that reacts with a peroxidase-like substance in the feces of bedbugs and an oxidizing substance such as hydrogen peroxide is housed in a packaging member 11. The determination kit is composed of the package 1 and the container 2 containing the solution of the oxidizing substance. An object to be judged such as bed bug feces or cockroach feces similar to bed bug feces is brought into contact with the support 11 from the opening 13 provided in the packaging member 10, and then an oxidizing substance is brought into contact with the support 11.
