PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element having improved display characteristics such as improvement in productivity and reliability due to improvement in curability of a polymerizable liquid crystal composition and improvement in stability of a pretilt angle. Another object of the present invention is to provide an optical anisotropic body that has a high curing rate, a wide liquid crystal phase temperature range and high heat resistance, and is useful for applications such as a deflector plate and a retardation plate.
