titleOfInvention Method for producing high optical purity L-lactic acid
abstract Production of high optical purity L-lactic acid using a biological method, which is simple and efficient by a bacterium that selectively or preferentially assimilate D-lactic acid in a lactic acid solution. -To provide a method for producing lactic acid. A D-lactic acid-assimilating bacterium is cultured in a lactic acid solution containing D-lactic acid and L-lactic acid, and the optical purity of L-lactic acid is enhanced by assimilating D-lactic acid in the lactic acid solution. It solves by the manufacturing method of high optical purity L-lactic acid characterized by having a lactic acid removal process. [Selection] Figure 1
