titleOfInvention | Binder for inorganic fiber nonwoven fabric |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric that is excellent in yield rate at the time of spraying a binder and that maintains the uniform and excellent mechanical strength of the nonwoven fabric even when the amount of binder adhered is reduced in the manufacturing process of an inorganic fiber nonwoven fabric with a low basis weight. Provided is a binder for inorganic fiber nonwoven fabric. An inorganic fiber nonwoven fabric in which at least a part of the particle surface contains resin particles (A) coated with hydrophilic fine particles (B), and the number average primary particle diameter of (B) is 1 to 20 nm. Binder. The resin constituting (A) is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of polyester resins, polyurethane resins, polyamide resins and polyvinyl acetate resins.
