abstract | [PROBLEMS] To produce a cyclic trithiocarbonate of interest which can be produced in a high yield even when the reaction is carried out under relatively mild conditions, and can be applied to various reaction substrates. I will provide a. (1) A cyclic trithiocarbonate characterized by reacting episulfide (thiirane) with carbon disulfide in the presence of a silica catalyst modified with a secondary or tertiary amine group. (2) a first step of obtaining an episulfide (thiirane) by reacting an epoxide (oxirane) with at least one selected from thiourea and ammonium thiocyanate, and the episulfide (thiirane) and disulfide.
